Find us at W3220 Princeton Road, Green Lake
Directions from Princeton: Take Highway 23 East approximately 4 miles; turn left on Princeton Road; continue approximately 1 mile. The orchard will be on your left.
From Green Lake: Take Highway 23 West approximately 2 miles past the Green Lake Conference Center; turn right on Princeton Road; continue approximately 1 mile. The orchard will be on your left.

Pineapple Hill Orchard is a small family apple orchard nestled in the quaint Green Lake countryside. The property includes a Cape Cod home, lovely gardens and delicious apples! Come visit us in the fall just a few miles west of Green Lake. Owners Greg and Barb Becker specialize in growing high-quality fruit, including eleven varieties of apples in addition to plums and Concord grapes. Apple cider is also available in October.
VARIETIES FROM OUR ORCHARD
- Paula Red
Bright red, the skin often has a dusty sheen. They have a sprightly taste, not too sweet and not too tart - Available Late August
- Zestar
The apple tastes sweet and tangy, with accents of brown sugar, and is known for its unique flavor. The apple is best used for fresh eating, and for use in a variety of baked goods - Available Late August
- Gala
The apples are small and are usually red with a portion being greenish or yellow-green, vertically striped. Gala apples are fairly resistant to bruising and are sweet, grainy, with a mild flavor and a thinner skin than most apples - Available Mid September
- Honeycrisp
Has rapidly become a prized commercial commodity, as its sweetness, firmness, and tartness make it an ideal apple for eating raw. It also retains its pigment well and boasts a relatively long shelf life when stored in cool, dry conditions - Available Mid September
- McIntosh
The fruit has red and green skin, a tart flavour, and tender white flesh. It is considered an all-purpose apple, suitable both for cooking and eating raw - Available Mid September
- Cortland
Its flavor is sweet compared to McIntosh, and it has a flush of crimson against a pale yellow background sprinkled with short, dark red stripes and gray-green dots. Cortland has very white flesh and is an excellent dessert apple. - Available Mid September
- Snow Apple
Aptly named for both the fruit’s white flesh and the tree’s winter hardiness — is one of the oldest known apple varieties. Also called the Fameuse. Most notable for its flavor and rich, strawberry-like aroma. The fruit is on the small side, but very sweet and juicy - Available Mid September
- Spartan
Is notable for being the first new breed of apple produced from a formal scientific breeding program. The apple is of medium size and has a bright-red blush, but can have background patches of greens and yellows.- Available Mid September
- Empire
Empire apples are red, juicy, firm, crunchy and sweet. The apples are excellent for eating and salads, and good for sauce, baking, pies and freezing. It is an ideal lunch-box apple, not least because it does not bruise easily - Available Early October
- Yellow Delicious
Is a large, yellowish-green skinned cultivar and very sweet to the taste. It is prone to bruising and shriveling, so it needs careful handling and storage. It is a favorite for salads, apple sauce, and apple butter. - Available Mid October
- Apple Cider
A flavorful blend of tart and sweet apples with no preservatives - Available in October
